Scholarships are gifts (that do not need to be paid back) that help finance your educational costs. Many Thiel students have outstanding academic ability. Others have leadership skills or talents in other areas. These students, regardless of need, are eligible to receive a renewable scholarship from Thiel in recognition of the value that their presence adds to our learning community.
Most of our scholarships are made on a rolling basis at the time of the application for admission to Thiel. For that reason, it is to your advantage to apply to Thiel as soon as possible. However, some merit awards have specific deadline dates. Incoming students should contact the Admissions office with any questions regarding the Thiel merit programs.
Take a look at a few of these scholarships. To be considered for many of these, you will need to complete the institutional scholarship application.

Please note: Prospective students who have completed their application for admission online do not need to fill out the incoming student scholarship application. All necessary information needed for the institutional scholarship application will be gathered from the application for admission.
Also, all awards are based on full-time enrollment as a residential student at Thiel. Should a student be eligible for more than one of the College's merit-based awards, they will be able to receive only one, the largest to which they are entitled. At no time will Thiel financial aid, in combination with outside scholarship and grant resources, be greater than the total direct cost of attendance.
Returning student institutional scholarship applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Priority will be given to applications received by April 1, 2013.
