13th-14th Century Pottery
On display in the Fine Arts Room is a collection of 13th and 14th century pottery from Thailand and Vietnam. Stop by and see the artifacts close up!
Moving on...
Jeanne Ball, part-time reference librarian, was responsible, not only for the reference collection, but handled all of the electronic databases, taught the library instruction classes, maintained the library's statistics, oversaw the collection of fines, updated the library web page, and watered all of our plants. We'll miss her. She has accepted a full-time reference librarian position at the Meadville Public Library.
We congratulate Dorothy Brenoel on her recent appointment as Library Technician at the Getchell Library, University of Nevada, in Reno!
After serving many years here at the Langenheim Memorial Library, most recently in charge of interlibrary loans, cataloging, and reference, she opted for a "new life" and moved west to be closer to her son, granddaughter, and skiing.
