Sawhill Hall

On the north side of the quad lies Donald V. Sawhill Memorial Hall which was named in memory of Dr. Donald V. Sawhill and in appreciation and in honor of his wife. Sawhill can house up to 102 students. Room dimensions are 9'x14'. There is a main lobby, laundry, and kitchen area available for resident's use. Rooms include a loftable bed, dresser, desk, desk chair and closet for each student. |
Florence West Hall

Directly next to the HMSC lies Florence West Hall, named in honor of Florence M. West, a member of the Board of Trustees and a friend of Thiel. Called Flo West for short, its seven wings house close to 146 first-year students. Room dimensions are 11'x12. There is a main lobby, kitchen and laundry area available for resident's use. Rooms include (all stationary furniture) 1 futon-style bed with storage compartment, desk, desk chair, dresser and closet per student. This is a 4 story building.

Harter Hall

Nathan W. Harter Hall was named in recognition of the services of Nathan W. Harter, Professor of Mathematics at the College for more than forty years. Located on the south side of the quad, Harter Hall houses approximately 104 first-year students. Room dimensions are 11'x12'. There is a main lobby, laundry and kitchen area available for resident's use. Rooms include a loftable bed, dresser, desk, desk chair and closet for each student. |
Hodge Hall

Named in honor of Dr. and Mrs. Edwin Hodge, Jr., past President of the Board of Trustees. Hodge Hall is located on the east side of the quad between Sawhill and Harter Halls. It is a 3 story building that houses approximately 136 first-year students. Room dimensions are 11'x12'. This building was completely renovated during the summer of 2011 and features new windows, furniture, lobby furniture, flooring, bathrooms, paint and has handicapped accessibility (1st floor). There is a main lobby, laundry and kitchen area available for resident's use. Rooms include a loftable bed, dresser, desk, desk chair, and closet for each student. Note: This building has increased costs due to the upgrades.
