Welcome Weekend is an important part of your Thiel experience—it is the beginning of four years that will shape your future. This program is designed to help you with the transition to college, to educate you about various on-campus opportunities, and to help you to begin forming lifelong friendships with your classmates!
Students participating in activities and athletic programs that have an August camp, will receive more specific move-in information from your respective coach or instructor. All students will also receive an email with information about move-in day on Saturday, August 20.
Please check this section regularly for updates as we approach Welcome Weekend!
All residential students arriving to campus on August 20, must first check-in at the William A. Passavant Memorial Center, located off of Route 18, for a drive through screening and laptop pick-up beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Commuter students should check-in in Weyers Lounge in the Howard Miller Student Center beginning at 1:30 p.m.
We ask all students to please finalize your "Must Complete" Financial Arrangement, Health Record (including COVID-19 Form), and IT Agreement items before you arrive to campus to ensure your check-in process has no delays and saves you time.
If you have special dietary needs (Lactose Intolerance, Gluten Sensitivity, etc.) please fill this form, and AVI Food Services will do their best to accommodate your requests during move-in day.
If you have not already received your Thiel College Student ID, please upload your photo here, so we can have your ID ready upon arrival.
If you have any questions, please call or email Director of Student Activities and Involvement Than Oo at (724)-589-2192 or email@example.com.
