GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College, a leading liberal arts college in northwest Pennsylvania, in partnership with Padrone’s Pizza & Pub and the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce, are bringing together students and the community for the Second Annual Greenville Community Festival from 5-10 p.m. Sept. 2 along Main Street.

The Borough of Greenville and other local business are participating and partnering on the event.

This year’s festival will feature a variety of food vendors, a kid’s zone, cornhole tournament, crafts, live music featuring Cooley/Strausser, The Side Effects, and The Yinger Trio, and much more.

“This was designed as a welcome party for the students and to introduce them to the community and what’s available for shopping and recreation in Greenville,” organizer and Thiel College Director of Student Activities and Involvement Than Oo said. “The Chamber, Padrone’s and the borough of Greenville have been outstanding partners in putting this event together.”

The Community Festival will be preceded by the Mercer County Trails Association, Inc.’s 21st anniversary Pedal the Lakes Bicycle Tour from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
