GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College, a leading liberal arts college in northwest Pennsylvania, awarded a full tuition scholarship worth $125,000 to DuBois Area High School senior Jonathan Russell.
Representatives from the Thiel College Office of Admission visited Russell at school at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13 to present him with a check representing the financial aid award as a result of his exceptional performance in high school and at a scholarship competition held on Dec. 2.
“Jonathan Russell is exactly the kind of high school student we want at Thiel,” Vice President of Enrollment Management Ashley Josay Zullo said. “His accomplishments in high school and involvement with clubs and organizations show that he is just the kind of motivated student who will be successful at Thiel.”
