GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College announces that it has earned the 2022-2023 Military Friendly® School designation.
Out of over 1,800 colleges and universities that applied for the Military Friendly® designation, Thiel College finished in the top 20 percent.
“Thiel College offers 24/7 support for military service members and veterans. As the Thiel College veteran liaison, I take great pride in supporting military service members and veterans throughout the entire college experience from pre-enrollment to life after college,” Veteran Liaison Mike Mason said. “I also truly believe military spouses and dependents are just as important as veterans themselves. Military spouses and dependents are the backbone of support for our country’s veterans. I am always researching financial assistance programs and opportunities to assist military families.”
The Military Friendly® School designation “is the standard that measures an organization’s commitment, effort and success in creating sustainable and meaningful opportunity for the military community,” according to the Military Friendly® website. Institutions earning the Military Friendly School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. This year, more than 1,800 schools participated in the 2022-2023 survey with 665 schools earning the designation.
“Award level schools… show true commitment and dedication in their efforts,” Kayla Lopez, Director of Military Partnership for Military Friendly®, said. “The Military Friendly benchmark promotes positive educational outcomes and support services that better the educational landscape and provide opportunity for the Military Community.”
The 2022–2023 Military Friendly® Schools list will be published in G.I. Jobs magazine’s May issue.
