Thiel College sophomore Kaylee Guy earns Thiel Team monthly recognition

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Kaylee Guy ’22, of Williamsville, N.Y., was named the Office of Admissions Thiel Team Student of the Month for March.

She is a 2018 graduate of Williamsville South High School and is majoring in psychology and health systems. On campus, Guy works for the Office of Admissions. She is also involved in the Sigma Kappa sorority, the track and field team. She also just received her emergency medical technician certification.

“My favorite thing about Thiel is definitely the opportunities a small-interactive campus like Thiel offers. It has given me opportunities I always dreamed of like: having friends I can call family, being in many leadership roles like Sigma Kappa, track and field team getting all the extra help and resources I need, and exceeding goals I never imagined in track. I look at the campus and imagine looking back on life and say, ‘This was the best decision I’ve made,’” Guy said.

On Feb. 8, Guy set the women’s weight throw record with a throw of 39-feet, 10.5-inches. Guy’s throw broke the 17-year-old record set in 2003.

The Thiel Team comprises students employed by the Office of Admission. The students primarily serve as ambassadors for prospective students and their families, but they are also responsible for a variety of other jobs and including work on mailings, market research, telemarketing, event support and other administrative, professional and office duties.
