Two Thiel College faculty members promoted and awarded tenure and two others promoted

GREENVILLE, Pa.--
Two Thiel College professors were awarded tenure and promoted to associate professor and two others were promoted to professor for this academic year.
Professor of English Jared Johnson, Ph.D. and Department Chair and Professor of Environmental Science and Chemistry Anna Reinsel, Ph.D. ’06 were promoted to full professor.
Department Chair, Director of ESOL Program, and Associate Professor of Languages Kristin Carlson, Ph.D. and Department Chair and Associate Professor of Psychology Natalie Homa, Ph.D. were awarded tenure.
- Johnson joined Thiel College in 2012. He graduated from Flagler College (B.A., 1999); the University of Tennessee-Knoxville (M.A., 2002); and the State University of New York-Stony Brook (2009, Ph.D.)
- Reinsel started at Thiel College in 2011. She graduated from Thiel College (B.A., 2006) and the University of Akron (Ph.D., 2011).
- Carlson joined Thiel College in 2015. She graduated from La Universidad Complutense, Madrid (1994); Rider University (B.A., 1995) and Purdue University (M.A., 2006, and Ph.D., 2014).
- Homa started at Thiel College in 2017. She graduated from Baldwin-Wallace University (B.S., 2008) and St. Louis University (2011, M.S. and 2013, Ph.D.).
