Fourth-seeded Thiel College hosting a first-round PAC women’s volleyball tournament match

GREENVILLE, Pa.—The Thiel College women’s volleyball team earned the fourth seed in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference championship tournament and will host fifth-seed Grove City at 7 p.m. Tuesday in a first-round match.

Thiel is appearing in the conference championship tournament for the third time in the last four years. The Tomcats last hosted a tournament match in 2014.

 The title match, which will be played Saturday, Nov. 6, will be hosted by the highest-remaining seed following Thursday's semifinal round.
 
The winner of the PAC Championship Tournament will receive the league's automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Division III Championship. The PAC is one of 44 conferences granted automatic qualification (Pool A) to the NCAA Division III Championship.
