The Department of Sociology & Criminal Justice Studies at Thiel College invites applications for an adjunct position beginning Fall 2022 to teach two sections of Introduction to Criminal Justice Studies OR a section of Deviance & Social Control.
A master’s degree (or equivalent) in Sociology, Criminal Justice, or a related field is required. A Ph. D. or J.D. is strongly preferred.
Candidates should have an interest in joining an undergraduate department where quality teaching in a small-classroom environment is emphasized.
There could be opportunities to teach additional introductory and advanced courses in the future (e.g., Criminology, Juvenile Justice Studies, Victimology)
