Seventeen Thiel College accounting and finance majors attended the 21st annual Accounting and Finance Student/Practitioner Day sponsored by the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University on Oct. 20. The day was filled with informative presentations and a chance to network with accounting and finance professionals.

Breakout sessions on possible career paths in the accounting and finance professions were held and included overviews of the opportunities available in public, governmental, forensic, and managerial accounting; the financial services industry; graduate school; and women in accounting & finance. In addition, informational sessions were held on the various professional certifications and the related examinations.
