GREENVILLE, Pa.—The Thiel College Office of Admission is launching a set of new “Summer BBQ” visit days to be held Monday, June 27 and Wednesday, July 13.
The events provide prospective students and their families a more informal opportunity to experience Thiel College. The days include introductory admission and financial aid information sessions, a student-led campus tour, and a picnic lunch.
Vice President for Enrollment Management Stephen Lazowski hopes that the new visit days will help students to get a feel for the campus community culture. “These events are a wonderful way to discover all of the great academic and social opportunities Thiel College offers our students,” Lazowski said. “Summer is one of the best times to visit campus because prospective students can get a lot of individualized attention from our faculty, staff and students.”
Registered first-year students have also been invited to the summer visit days. Lazowski hopes that registered students interact with prospective students, giving them insight into why they chose Thiel.
These events accompany several other visit opportunities throughout the summer, including admitted student registration days on June 15 and July 20. Prospective students can also schedule personalized, individual visits Monday through Friday or Saturday by appointment.
